Hi Everyone,
Over Memorial Day weekend I had my grandchildren here. Two of them, boy 5 and girl 3, made these playground scenes from the Lawn Fawn Let's Play stamp set and dies. The boy, you will notice, used mostly the objects that were already colored with patterned paper. His sister, however, liked to color a lot of the objects. You will notice that each of them has a little girl in the tree. I found out that their family went apple picking last fall, and their father was reaching them up into the trees to pick the apples. So that solved that mystery. However, the mystery of why the little girl has a purple face is still unsolved.
This is a really fun set to do with little kids. They can create a playground scene that looks nice and they can get excited about. I cut a piece of aqua cardstock in half so the scene is 4.5" x 11". I had everything cut ahead of time since I didn't think they would have the patience to wait until I cut everything. Besides, that took longer than I thought it would.
Enjoy!

Have a Happy Day
Hi Everyone,
Here are cards in two different color schemes using the Whipper Snapper Design stamp, Wishing you a Lovely Day. This is a fun stamp set to color, since you can use so many different colors. I really like the sentiment for sending to special people for no particular reason. The striped paper is from Lawn Fawn.
Enjoy!

Wedding Card
Hi Everyone,
Here is a card that I CASED from the MFT site. Everything on this card, sans the ink and rhinestones, is from the MFT site: the stamps, dies, cardstock, sentiments, and background stamp are all from the site. Also, I used the MFT Blueprint dies to cut out the card front, the stitched strips, and the inside layer. All together I counted 11 layers.
If you are planning on joining me on June 6 at Panera, you can scroll down and see other variations of this card using different color combinations.
So here is the card:
Here are a few more cards I made using these ideas while using other color combinations:

Aqua Happy Birthday
Hi Everyone,
I didn't mean to be so laconic on my OWH Blog Hop post, but every time I started to upload my card, my 20-month old dgd decided to hit the blue button on the computer. After a few tries, I just decided to get the card loaded up and not try to do anything more than that--it could give her more time to find the blue button again.
On to this card. I am really smitten with these Modern Blooms flowers and Die-Namics from MFT Stamps. I figured out how to make sure they are lined up perfectly by using a template in the MISTI. It makes a difference in ensuring that the flowers are in the middle of the die cut and not skewed to one side.
Once again, I can't take credit for this design. I CASed this from Jodi's Web site. You can check out her blog here. I am so impressed with her blog! She has the greatest ideas.
Enjoy!

Lawn Fawn and Mama Elephant Stamps
Hi Everyone,
I have been having fun with the new Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. Just recently I had decided to make cards that OWH heroes could send to their children, as opposed to their SOs, so I got some more puerile stamps. Actually, once I started down this path, I got lots of inspiration from Kelly Marie from Lawn Fawn and Nichol Magouirk. Both of them have lots of videos on YouTube that are really fun to watch. They both give great ideas for making interesting cards.
Most of the stamps and dies are from Lawn Fawn, but the little people are from Mama Elephant. I tried to leave the impression from the little girl that she had just gone down the slide and was making an "I did it" sign with her hands. Fun!

PTI Ballerina Girl
Hi Everyone,
Here is my card made using the PTI Ballerina stamp and die. I used the design from SU! Summer Silhouettes to create a floor for the ballerina to be dancing on. This is the perfect stamp for cards for young girls.
