OWH Memorial Blog Hop
Hi Everyone,
Operation Write Home Blog Hop
Here is the card I made for the OWH Memorial Day blog hop. I used the Bonus Sketch (immediately following Sketch #63). I used the Hero Arts floral stamp that comes with the Sizzix shape. Love these new stamps that are put out by Hero Arts and Sizzix. This card is plain and simple, but I just love the sentiment. Who wouldn't love to open a card with that sentiment on it? It's from the One in a Million stamp set by Gina K Designs. It was free, but you had to buy three stamps to get it free--so not really free!!!

Denami Pastels Blog Hop
Hi Everyone, Here is my card forthe Denami Blog Hop. I am having many problems with Blogger this a.m., so will keep this short. The post below this has a short tutorial on how to stamp the flowers after they are cut out using the Silhouette software and the Wishblade--or any other cutter. Please continue on to Debbie Bonczek's blog.
Thanks for stopping by.
Denami Design Blog Hop
Hi Everyone, Here is my card for the Denami Blog Hop. I have four daisy stamps from Denami, even though I only used two of them on this card. I stamped them in black ink and scanned them into my computer and saved as a .jpg file. Then I retrieved the file in the Silhouette software, and using the trace feature, outlined the daisies. Then I loaded the patterned paper in the Wishblade and cut out the flowers.
After the flowers were cut, I stamped the flower again on blank paper using my stamp-a-ma-jig.
Then I took the cut file and placed it exactly over the green stamped daisy.
Then I stamped the flower in green. These flowers are asymmetrical, so you must line them up perfectly before stamping. I ended up making about six of these cards, and there is no way I am cutting out that many flowers.
Please continue on to Debbie Bonczek's blog and thanks for stopping by today.

Flourishes Pink
Hi Everyone,
I don't have any Flourishes stamps, but I have a few on my list that I am planning on buying. When I went around to some of the blogs that have the Flourishes stamps on their sites, I was amazed how gorgeous all their cards were. What an inspiration.
So here's my pink themed card for this week:
Memory Box Tilth Die
Hi Everyone,
Dynamic Duos Challenge
This flower is made with the Memory Box Tilth die. When I first started to work with this die, I was ready to defenestrate it. But I persevered, and below I have some simple instructions that could make your life a little easier if you buy this die.
So what I discovered was to use a cardstock that has a slight coating on it for the base and outline of the flower. That will be your first cut, and as soon as it comes out of the Big Shot, you need to glue a circle to the back of it:
The reason you need to use a heavier cardstock with a finish on it is so that the glue doesn't tear the cardstock.
The next step is to cut another of the bottom/border color and place on top of the original flower and glue it down. I used a liquid glue:
With the extra layer on the border, you can now cut the petals to the flower. This can be cheaper, lighter paper or cardstock:
That extra border on top will produce a space that the petals fit into. Afer you have glued all the petals in place, you can then shape your flower.

Daffodil Yellow Floral
Hi Everyone, This is my new favorite stamp set, One in a Million, from Gina K Designs. I also love, love, love the sentiment--it's just so cheerful. Plus, the good news is that the stamp set was free. So I'm probably going to be using this one a lot. There are so many possibilities with the color schemes.
