Wedding Card

Hi Everyone,

Here is a card that I CASED from the MFT site. Everything on this card, sans the ink and rhinestones, is from the MFT site: the stamps, dies, cardstock, sentiments, and background stamp are all from the site. Also, I used the MFT Blueprint dies to cut out the card front, the stitched strips, and the inside layer. All together I counted 11 layers.

If you are planning on joining me on June 6 at Panera, you can scroll down and see other variations of this card using different color combinations.

So here is the card:

Here are a few more cards I made using these ideas while using other color combinations:

Aqua Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone,

I didn't mean to be so laconic on my OWH Blog Hop post, but every time I started to upload my card, my 20-month old dgd decided to hit the blue button on the computer. After a few tries, I just decided to get the card loaded up and not try to do anything more than that--it could give her more time to find the blue button again.

On to this card. I am really smitten with these Modern Blooms flowers and Die-Namics from MFT Stamps. I figured out how to make sure they are lined up perfectly by using a template in the MISTI. It makes a difference in ensuring that the flowers are in the middle of the die cut and not skewed to one side.

Once again, I can't take credit for this design. I CASed this from Jodi's Web site. You can check out her blog here. I am so impressed with her blog! She has the greatest ideas.

Lawn Fawn and Mama Elephant Stamps

Hi Everyone,

I have been having fun with the new Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. Just recently I had decided to make cards that OWH heroes could send to their children, as opposed to their SOs, so I got some more puerile stamps. Actually, once I started down this path, I got lots of inspiration from Kelly Marie from Lawn Fawn and Nichol Magouirk. Both of them have lots of videos on YouTube that are really fun to watch. They both give great ideas for making interesting cards.

Most of the stamps and dies are from Lawn Fawn, but the little people are from Mama Elephant. I tried to leave the impression from the little girl that she had just gone down the slide and was making an "I did it" sign with her hands. Fun!

PTI Ballerina Girl

Hi Everyone,

Here is my card made using the PTI Ballerina stamp and die. I used the design from SU! Summer Silhouettes to create a floor for the ballerina to be dancing on. This is the perfect stamp for cards for young girls.

You Make Every Day Happy

Hi Everyone,

Love the sentiment on this card. I also love the combination of deep reds and purples. As usual, I used the MFT Die-Namics Blueprints and Modern Blooms stamps and dies. The cards I made were inspired by Jodi, who is a designer at MFT Stamps. You can check out her blog here. I am so impressed by her blog!

The sentiment is from Be Blessed stamp set by Verve.

Just Because

Hi Everyone,

Here is another card I made. This time I used the 2008 PTI Bitty Boxes paper as the background strips. The rest of the card was done using MFT Blueprints and their Modern Blooms stamps and dies. The Just Because is a PTI sentiment.

Purple Thank You

Hi Everyone,

I just recently discovered MFT stamps and their line of Blueprints dies that make creating perfect cards really easy. In these cards I used Blueprints 13 for the stitched background and Blueprints 2 for the stitched strips. The stitched circle is created using the stitched circle dies. The arch is from Blueprints 3. The flowers are from their Modern Blooms stamps and dies. I can't take credit for the designs. I CASED one of their team's cards which you can find on
Jodi's Web site.

Paper Smooches Flowers

Hi Everyone,

Here is a card I made using the Paper Smooches floral bouquet. I used the Die-Namics Blueprints to cut out the stitched cardstock, and PTI Sending You die to cut out the arched white cardstock. Colored the flowers with Copic markers. I used the Blueprints to cut out the dotted paper strips behind the panels. The stitched rectangle behind the arch is from PTI Just Smile. This is my first time using the Die-Namics Blueprints. They really make a nice element on the card since they are perfectly straight, and I love the stitching detail.
