Hi Everyone,
Here is a card I made for a lady who is turning 88 this month. I'm sure she'll like it. The inside has an Irish Blessing--I don't know if she's Irish or not, but she will be on her birthday! I used the PTI Beautiful Brushstrokes stamp set. The main flower is created with SU Daffodil Delight and PTI Summer Sunrise. I then stamp the bottom layer last and use the Daffodil Delight stamped off one time. I have found that using the same color stamped once for layer #2 and the same color stamped off once for layer #1 ensures that both layers coordinate well with each other. In summary, here is the order that I stamp:
Layer #2, First generation Daffodil Delight
Layer #3, First generation Summer Sunrise
Layer #1, Second generation Daffodil Delight
I did the same order for the smaller rose, using Pure Poppy.
Enjoy!

Papertrey Ink Beautiful Brushstrokes
Hi Everyone,
Here are the cards I made using the new Beautiful Brushstrokes. I made a few of these cards using the dies and pinks and yellows, but then I decided to get daring with some bold fall colors. After I finished the fall card, I decided these smaller stamps might look nice surrounding a pumpkin for the fall. Anyway, once you figure out how the stamps go together, using them becomes fun. I haven't ventured too far out of my comfort zone yet. One of the reasons is that whenever I put lots of time and effort into a card, invariably at the very end something happens to obliterate my card. So I choose the safe route. BTW, these cards are knock offs from Betsy Veldman's cards, which, of course, are way more exciting than mine. But I'll get there.....
Enjoy!

Avery Elle Flowers
Hi Everyone,
I have been in the mood to make cards in fall colors, probably because by the time I fill a box for OWH, it will be close to the end of summer. So here is a card I made with the Avery Elle stamp, Petals and Stems. Love this set because they come with matching dies.
Enjoy!

Two New Cards
Hi Everyone,
Here are two cards I made today and took pictures of. The orange card uses Verve Stamps Be Blessed. I love the way these stamp and are easy to color. I colored the orange card with Copics. The other card I used pattern paper, and glued it onto the white die cut. This card is made using Flower Friends from Simon Says Stamp. I used patterned paper for the flower and glued it to a white die cut. Love the way that turned out. The background was created with the Quilted Stitched Pattern Die from Lil Inker Designs. Love this background!
Enjoy!
